St. Patrick's Day is a National Holiday in my family!! My husband's grandmother is a Kelly and we go all out. They start at 5:00am down at the parade route. My husband and older boys will set up the camper, get the doughnuts, and beer ready. The parade starts at 10:00. Once that is finished we go to my mother-in-laws for corned beef and cabbage. I make Irish Potato Candy. Love it! Then we hit the local taverns. The kiddos stay with grandma. A fun time is had by all. Oh....My husband wears his kilt for this special occassion.
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of Irish in this area. I love it!!
