Promo/Giveaway: Marked by Jennifer James

Marked
Howl Series Book 1
Jennifer James

Five years ago she ran. . .

Kayla is back where she belongs: in Jack’s arms. But after the initial explosion of pent up longing and need have passed, she has to convince him to complete the bond between them.

Ingrained fears sent her running, but the need for her mate and the love she’s denied has brought her back. To be Marked will join their souls together forever, a bond Kayla can no longer live without.

An Alpha wolf, Jack waited for Kayla to return to him and protected her from afar. When he senses her outside his home, he isn’t beyond setting a trap meant to entice her back.

Once he has her, he has to show her it isn’t just her heart he needs.

He needs her trust and with it, her submission.

So I'm kind of addicted to Jennifer James.  Not only is she an amazing person who is hilarious and cracks me up, but she is a fantastic author.  She is able to cross genres and still keep the appeal in her books.  I haven't read Marked yet, but I will be very soon - and I'm getting anxious to.  So when she approached me to post something up for it, I was like, "ummmm, hell yeah!"  So here we go! Here is a simple promo just to intro you to the book, and of course, and awesome giveaway.  Good luck!

Jennifer James:

I have a bad habit of creating series. I love to read them, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I keep writing them. *grin* Last week I released my very first Indie title, a short story set in a universe called HOWL. This universe will be in the spirit of Felicity Heaton’s Vampire Realms, with lots of different characters, book lengths, and storylines. I hope you’ll enjoy my take on werewolf soul mates in this first installment, MARKED

To celebrate the release of MARKED, I’m running a Rafflecopter through May 31. In it, there’s a chance to win a gorgeous book thong I created! I also two some Jennifer James swag packs up for grabs. But don’t worry, if the Rafflecopter doesn’t smile on you, I’m hosting a Facebook party May 31. There will be ebooks, awesome swag, and lots of games.

Jennifer James lives in a fantasy land where it’s always 75 degrees and sunny, a river made of non-fat chocolate runs past her house, and dogs don’t poop. (She hates cleaning up dog pooh.) A mutli-published author of erotica and erotic romance, she loves to write stories with heat, heart, and happily ever afters.

  6. :) It's funny, no one has said they thought that the two might band together and kick ass that way.

  7. Hi Anna! I thought I saw on your blog that you are booked into September.... :) But MARKED is a shortie, so you could fit it in with your coffee, and then go attack your significant other. LOL I'm glad you like the cover. Mina Carter made it, and I think she's a genius.

  8. HAHHHAAA! Liz, I think I'm going to put that on my website.

Cause you're right. I do have a dirty mind.

  9. Oooh! Can't wait! But how do you pronounce Greiff? That's a new name to me :)

    ReplyDelete
  10. That's his last name. His fist name is Jacob...but he's a tough guy cop/former Army dude. So..it's pronounced Gr-i-ff. Forget the "e".

But you'll like him. Can I come back in mid June? *bats her eyes at Liz* I haz a book with your name on it....

  13. Congrats to Jennifer on her new release! I am a huge reader of series - most of the books I read are part of a series - though there are the occasional one book things...lol....I love the sound of Marked and can't wait to read it.

  14. Oh, and for the rafflecopter question... I think both vampires and werewolves would beat the piss out of zombies. Wolfs are fast and strong, and all that fur to get in the way. Vamps can't drink zombies, cause ewwww, but they are fast and strong... hopefully they have some sort of daylight ring *snickers*

  15. Oh my o.O at the cover... brings dirty thoughts to mind. Now I just need my own version of Jack and I'm set. :) Hmm... Vamps or Weres?? Weres.... with Vamps biting there would be no blood to gorge on and it certainly wouldn't kill a zombie! The Weres will just rip them to shreds so they can't reassemble and hopefully burn all the pieces so I don't have to find parts in the house. That's just gross!

Marked sounds like a great read. I'll be adding it to my TBR mountain shortly! Thanks for the giveaway and introduction to a new author! *waves at Jennifer*

  16. Love the cover! Vamps would probably have the advantage against zombies, because they can move really fast, some can hover or fly. Weres are strong and could tear them apart. So I would have to say they both would be able to destroy the zombies. As for which one would win, well I really hope it's not a competition, they should just destroy the zombies before the zombies start eating people.

  17. Hahhaaa! Yeah, or the vamps lose their food supply. :)

  18. Hi Sara! :) Yeah, my TBR mountain will never be satisfied I'm afraid. The longer I'm in publishing, the more authors I meet, and like, and their books are all awesome......*sigh* It's hard stuff, I tell ya. ;)

  19. Thanks! I like em too. I have Jack And Kayla's next adventure taking shape in my head right now. But first I have to finish a little shortie I promised someone. :) Thanks for the nice words about Marked.

  20. daylight ring..... Oh, Angel, how I loved thee.

  21. You know, speaking of Angel... I loved him. Still do. And when he went in the box in the ocean and had to stay down there for a long time, unable to die, I thought it was a great storyline. But now that I'm seeing it all over again... Vampire Diaries is giving me deja vu and I don't like it. /rant.

  31. LOL yup I have myself well and book for reviews but I always leave a little wiggle room for a fun read now and again :) Will definitely be adding this into the list :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well it's all your own fault you know. Go off and have an awesome website and see what happens? Get allll inundated with authors. Poor Liz has the same problem. :) Thanks Anna, I hope you like the book.
