Cover Reveal & Giveaway: Drowning by Rachel Firasek

"I dare you."

Those words would change adrenaline junkie, Alice Harrison's life forever. She's a party girl that doesn't believe in love until she meets a man that only writes about it.

Seth James escaped his overbearing father and moved into one of the James family's vacant condos, hoping to create the music he loves in peace. But the fragile calm he's envisioned shatters when a tiny woman with a world full of energy bounces out of the elevator and nearly takes him out.

With the patience of a saint, Seth seeks the dark that keeps Alice from enjoying life. He challenges her to exorcise the demons in her past in order to discover the true meaning of love. But when the walls fall down, the hidden deceptions will bare the ugly truth about a woman drowning in sorrow and a man who may not know how to be her hero.

Drowning

Tears of Sin

Rachel Firasek

November 5, 2013

Rachel Firasek spends her days daydreaming of stories and her nights putting the ideas to ink. She has spent a dull life following the rules, meeting deadlines, and toeing the line, but in her made up worlds, she can let the wild side loose. Her wonderful husband and three children support her love of the written word and only ask for the occasional American Idol or Swamp People quality hour.

She has a philosophy about love. It must devastate or it isn't truly worth loving. She hopes that you all find your devastating love and cling to it with all your heart!

You can meet her at:

  2. LOL I didn't even notice the nail polish or the necklaces! I like a man who can carry off some black nails (and scars and tattoos!)

  3. My pick me up method are
    1. Listening to music (usually loud)
    2. Reading
    3. Getting in my SUV driving with no destination in mind for an hour or more listing to music loudly.
    4. Chilling with my 3 year old Black Lab Sophie either playing with her toys, taking her swimming to our lake, or just chilling in bed together watching TV or napping.
    So there are my secrets!

  4. I'm totally with you on the first 3, but I also love to have the windows down when I'm driving. I don't know your black lab, but I suspect I'd also want to play with her LOL.

  5. Crystal! We're soul sisters--except for the dog. I'm not a big dog cuddler...of course, it could be because mine shed a blanket every day.

Anne, the nailpolish is a big deal in the book. :) I can't wait for everyone to find out how Seth got his man-i-cure.

My pick me ups are playing tug-o-war with my dog, reading by the pool, and talking to my mother. She's an angel, ya know:)

I like to sit on my front porch and listen to the nothingness. We live on 175 acres and the sounds of the birds chirping and the wind blowing will clear my head. Of course, sometimes the bellowing of the cows will blow that all out of the water but it's still better than most people have!!
